I’m Nolan Moore—a compulsive hobby collector with a soft spot for stories and an incurable itch to make things.

As a kid, I built homemade tasers for fun, dazzled strangers with street magic, and tried to outhink grandmasters on a chessboard I probably made myself. These days, I design energy harvesting devices by day, and conjure up word-magic by night—same brain, different spells.

Home is Texas, where I share life with my brilliant wife and our two energetic boys, who’re already showing signs of inheriting the mischief. I play harmonica (badly but with feeling), wrangle teenagers at my church’s youth group, and summon epic game nights with the neighbors.
